I am pleased to announce the first ever Health and Safety Summit.
This Summit will be attended by the Health and Safety Reps from all of the offices.
It will be held on March 11-12 2026 in Mississauga.
Reps will be getting their official invitation in the next week.
I am still looking to get ahold of some of the offices and get them signed up. If you are a new Health and Safety Rep in an office or have not been in contact with me in the past several months, please send me an email so we can get you set up. We would like to have all offices with reps involved. Now those offices that do not have a rep because you are too small you will not be left out. After the summit I will put together a package for you to have in your office to use as a reference.
What is the summit? It is an opportunity to get all of the reps in the same room. We can talk to reps from other offices about what happens there. We can go over policies and how to ensure that they are being followed. If will include guest speakers and some role play to show how to stand up for ourselves and our members.
I am looking forward to it as I know it will help grow our union stronger together.
If your office doesn’t have a rep and it should please email me and we will get that sorted out and get a rep in as soon as we can.
